I watched the Lone Survivor also. My takeaways were: 1) I hate the liberties that Hollyweird takes with "true life" movies. The real story (where they strayed or made it more "thrilling") would have been just as gripping. 2) I will NEVER second guess someone that was on the gorund for an operation, ...

No, I mean did you go to JOTC? A lot of units came down from the light units to train. Later, we often had the 9th INF (7ID) deploy in the lead-up to Just Cause.

We had plenty of Army there too.

This pisses me off to no end. I could care less about Fallujah now....but we damn sure left some American blood on those streets and for what?
