M120 / M121 120-mm Mortar

The 120-mm mortar is the US Army’s heavy mortar. It is used to provide high-angle fire for ground troop support. The 120-mm mortar is a relatively new item to the Ranger inventory. This system is transported using the Mortar specific Ranger Special Operations Vehicle (MORSOV) or with a trailer system during dismounted operations.
