Baysix - My Intro

Post by Baysix »

Hello, my name is Randy. I am seventeen years old and today I enlisted in the US Army. My job selection is Airborne Ranger. I graduate in May of 2005 and will be shipping out August 2nd, 2005 to Ft. Benning Georgia to begin my training. I have will power and determination and am sure I have what it takes to become a Ranger. Hopefully throughout my waiting time, I will learn numerous things from all of you Rangers.

I am 5'9 1/2
216 lbs
Neck - 17.5
Waste - 40

I cleared my tape with a 23.99 out of 24 possible.

Any tips to get me in the clear would be appreciated, also any other pointers toward the preperation for Basic would be appreciated.

First tip, with a 40 inch waist I hope you have 60-70 inch chest and bench press small buildings otherwize my son, you had best Adkins your ass off and train like a Marathoner to boot.
Take the running serious. Guys with your size usually can hump for days on end but always get blown out on the PT test or 5 mile run. Post the time's son and we will take it from there.

I'm not the way I am because I was a Ranger - I was a Ranger because of the way I am.
