Re: Thoughts of a holdover
I think this is an important post you should keep up with during your time now at a new holdover in Pre-RASP. Don't have to divulge specifics of the course if you are not able to, but keep posting your thoughts. I hope it helps you drive on and conquer your challenges coming.

You've got your head in the right spot and you are already seeing what many OPT40s and RASP attendees report back to us. Keep up with like minded folks, learn what you can, ask questions, and execute. Check back in with us soon when you have time.TyDolla wrote: ↑November 5th, 2019, 4:20 pm I’ve been at Pre-RASP since last Monday. I’m amazed by how many people are so ill-prepared for what’s to come. Many didn’t/don’t know the Ranger creed, Ranger history, Airborne Ranger in the Sky, etc. I also notice the guys who sandbag PT and don’t give it their best effort, more importantly the cadre notice as well. I’ve been trying to separate the squared away guys from the rest and align myself with them. I didn’t do much productive during my free time last week so I’m making time for the gym and extra PT now. It’s important to keep your mind dialed in and the gym does that for me. Many go play video games at the recreation center or just waste time in general. I’m making it a point to stay focused this week and the next so I’m at my peak when I class up.

Hang in there, you have the right attitude.
So did they switch it back to airborne before RASP again ? Or did you just have something weird in your contract ?

Sounds good, Ty. Stay out of trouble of block leave... And do some PT while enjoying your time off!TyDolla wrote: ↑December 15th, 2019, 2:25 pm Just an update for y’all, I’ve been off profile for two weeks. I’m still having pain in my shins but I’m powering through it, but I’m also taking care of my body the best I can. We go on block leave in just a few days and I’m gonna return refreshed and ready to jump into the fire.
