Ranger Disinfertention today is my 3rd day of RASP, the first day we just did a little bit of processing and got our brief which was motivational as fuck. The next morning before we even had our first PT session 25 kids quit. 15 of them were from my own OSUT company, we started off the day with a 7.5 mile run when it was 26 degrees outside, the van that picked up the fallouts was packed completely full they couldn’t even follow us for the whole run, I’m glad I didn’t fall out though but I struggled a little bit but still made it. Today we did a Circuit workout and did a little more running but when I got out of bed this morning the bottom of my feet were hurting like crazy and I could barely walk normal for some reason my legs just weren’t moving correctly. I still did all the running that we did today but it’s only been two days and my body is feeling it and I love it. Tomorrow we have a 6 mile ruck and man I’m gonna be sucking on that one especially the way my legs and feet are. They aren’t injured just extremely worked out right now so I’m not too worried.

My biggest fear when I showed up is that everyone would be physical beasts that can whoop my ass in everything physical, it’s kind of true and kind of not true. Class up PT test is on Monday or Tuesday (Tuesday I think) and there’s 230 of us and only 165 spots, I’m determined to get one of those spots. I think I’m going to spend my weekend pass drinking Pedialyte and I just got a subscription to the new Disney + app so I’m just gonna spend my weekend recovering. If I class up my last day before HBL will be the last day of Cole Range. I’ll update with more information when there is more

Thanks for checking in, Avonte.

The class should test some of your limits. For some it will be physical. Others mental... and some just both. Gotta keep the attitude you have and remember why you volunteered and earned your chance. Don't lose sight of that. Good plan for the weekend. Lay low, do some light type of PT to loosen yourself up if you are sore and don't over-work it. Excited to hear back from you.

Roger that Ranger Disinfertention, I also just realized in my message I said that I was on my third day of RASP, I meant Pre-Rasp but yesterday we did our 6 mile ruck, the first 3 miles was supposed to be at a walking pace of about 14 minutes and then the last 3 was supposed to be a jogging pace of about 12 minutes per mile.

Well I just so happened to end up in the back of the formation for the ruck so for me the first 3 miles was a series of constant running the entire time anyways and then the second 3 miles was me just continuing what I did the first 3 miles I ended up passing a lot of people and managed to keep running the entire time up until the very end a couple minutes before we went back to our walking pace. If ended up us walking out 3 miles then running back 2 and the last mile was a walk back. The two miles we ran I probably made it about 1.8 before my legs kind of just stopped, I still finished the ruck before a good amount of people and we ended up finishing in 1 hour and 28 minutes. For the weekend I made the decision to basically just lay in bed and work on push-ups. Class up test is Tuesday I’ll update when that comes around.
