Hi there my name is Nick Hoover and I am a 17 year old junior in high school.
I am 6 feet exactly and 135 pounds. I am a lacrosse goalie for my high school.
I scored a 78 on my ASVAB on the first try last year. I am the president for the
Military and Leadership Club for my school and we are trying to get a JROTC
program at our school. I am currently looking at the MOS 25c with OP 40
and if anybody on here has that MOS or knows of the MOS I would invite
you to private message me so I could get more info thanks.

Yes I was specifically looking for someone in this MOS that did option 40 and tried out for the rangers and if that was something I would be interested in. I know most rangers go in as infantry with option 40 on contract but I was looking to see as a radio operator.

Look at recruiting for specific MOSs. Here on the site, you will find a number of 25C Option 40 troops in the letters from school thread.

Nick, welcome to the site. A word of advice, read the rules and FAQs of the site. When addressing a Ranger on this site you will address him as Ranger, (i.e. Ranger Jim) prior to finishing your sentence, that a way we know who you are talking to and you begin to learn a little Military respect. The men who have Ranger under their names, on this site, have been vetted and worked hard to earn that title, you will address them as such. There is a lot of information about the MOS in question, but remember, the selection process is the same no matter what the MOS. If you want to be a Ranger always strive to do your best in everything you do. Memorize the Ranger Creed and start living by it. Give everything you've got, every time you give and never, ever quit.
