Thanks for this Ranger Jim. I am most interested in class 03-16. I heard through the grapevine that of the 165 that started, 96 were still standing after Cole Range. If all goes well, I will be booking my travel after next weekend.

Still standing after ruck. Reports are that 90 candidates are left. The ruck weigh-in was not going well yesterday. One candidate took matters into his own hands and poured water into his ruck before being weighed. The Cadre did not take kindly to that.

Three weeks to go. I think he can make it. More importantly, my son knows he can make it. Yes, he has things he needs to work on but he is doing the work. My boy is now a man, much different than when he left home last summer.

We should have several mentees graduate on 26 Feb. Something to be proud of.

Ranger jim, I am proud to say my son will be among the graduates on Feb 26 and I will be in attendance for the ceremony. Pride is an understatement for what I feel. My son has accomplished what I could not have done myself as a young Army enlistee. Perhaps I helped a little bit in getting him to this point, I don't know. I think more likely the determination came from within. I just hope, wish, implore the experienced Rangers to continue to train him up so that he is fully capable when his time to deploy comes. Rangers lead the way!
