At Airborne School

Post by blankenship »

It's been a while since I've been on but I finally got to a computer. I'm on my second week at Airborne school, Charlie Company. It's fun, we run every damn place we go but it's all good. Next is tower week, that will be fun/crazy. All of the runny is causing my shins some serious pain and my voice is all screwed up from sounding off. I'll just have to take it easy today and tomorrow.

I went through Charlie company, too. Too bad you don't get the honor of being the keeper of the wings

Thanks for checking in, Blankenship. Sounds like you're doing well. Couple more weeks and you won't be a Leg anymore! 8) Keep up the good work. "Break a leg!"

I made jumpweek, finished all five with no injuries. It was as fun as hell. My first landing I made was, feet ass head, after that they got a little better. The night jump was crazy. Now all I have to do is wait and graduate. I'm going to be a holdover at airborn school for RIP holdover. Sgt Airborne told us the next class wont start until January.

Congrats, Troop! You're no longer a LEG! Don't become complacent during your extended time in Holdover. Stay fit and try to remember what you're shooting for. Don't blow it all by getting sauced on Victory Drive and getting in a fight, DWI, etc. Good luck.
