SITREP - Michael
Re: SITREP - Michael
MichaelS, that is a good sitrep. These same men were using aids (less suffering) to get them to the top 20 meanwhile those without (aids/meds) suffered all their maladies and overcame these hardships with only perseverance & drive. Looking forward to hearing your future sitreps MichaelS.

Rangers,
I am currently halfway through Week 7. This week we are training in marksmanship with our M4s. We had our final PT test and I managed to max out once again.
I am 8 days away from graduation but I refuse to get complacent because as many of us have found out, you are not safe until the hour of graduation (and even then, as we've been told numerous times, the truly hard part begins).
Our final peer reviews have gone through and we lost 4 candidates. We are now down to 85 out of the original 160.

Re: SITREP - Michael
Rangers,
Just a quick update. Today we did our swim test and the PT test failures got their second chance. After all that, we will be graduating with 77 out of the original 160 (as of right now). Still no word on what batallion I'm going to. Tomorrow is our fast rope training and our final RPAT. It's time for me to stay out of trouble and prepare to finally don a tan beret.

MichaelS, I asked a couple Rangers to attend your ceremony. Let us know what unit you are being assigned to. This has been the easy part. Never, never quit

Rangers,
Proud to say I'll be graduating with RASP class 04-14 tomorrow. It was easily the most challenging things I have ever done. I want to thank all the Rangers on this forum, past and present, for the support and information you've all provided. Graduation will be held at the Marshall Auditorium at 1300. We will be graduating 77 Rangers out of the original 160 soldiers. I have been assigned to 2nd Batallion.

Rangers,
Today was the day I've been waiting for. Today I donned my tan beret and my scroll. It's a great feeling knowing I've accomplished a goal I set out to complete over a year ago, and this is just the beginning of my journey. I want to thank every Ranger on here for the support you've all provided.

Re: SITREP - Michael
Ranger Jim,
Unfortunately, we were marched off the stage and were immediately bussed back to the barracks after the ceremony so I was unable to introduce myself to MSG Mullen. He did, however, come down the ranks and shook all the graduates hands. I didn't have the opportunity to introduce myself so that must have been CoSa.
