Ranger Jim, PerryB, I have good news. When I went to the liason's office I still asked about 11x Option 40 and he said that they don't have them and tried to get me to settle for 11x, another MOS w/ option 40, he even offered 18x (which is weird, because I'm only 17). Well, when it came down to it I respectfully said I wouldn't enlist without 11x Option 40, and they decided to call DA and after a few phone calls, they said there going to have one for me tomorrow, which got me excited. So tomorrow there's a really good chance of an 11x Option 40 contract for me.

We shall see. Never, never quit!

Ranger Jim, PerryB, I'm back from MEPS and got the 11x Option 40. After making a few calls, and trying to get me to settle for Option 4, my liason told me that he got the 11x Option 40, and I enlisted. I have a ship date and everything.
