Thank you for the advice, No slack! That sounds like it could work. My concern is that the Regimental Liaison might be unable to work with me because they'd be stepping on SF Recruiting's toes for the sake of some unproven Prior Service has-been/wannabe such as myself.
Also, I don't want to show up at the Liaison at Benning and be told "sorry, no" due to some obscure DOD policy.
Does anyone know, before I sign anything: are there any rules right now preventing me from going 18x to RASP?

Meantime, I will PT, PT, PT.

Apples and oranges. Both Option 40 and 18X have screening events to demonstrate you have what it takes.

My recruiter has told me that I can volunteer for RASP in OSUT, even as an 18X. I asked him to give me his word on that, and he did... not that that means very much to me. Can anyone verify this for me, please? If so, I'm signing that 18X contract and getting back in the game!
