Introduction

Post by Biscuitsjam »

I am currently an active-duty 2LT (armor) and I will be attending Ranger school this October. I first joined the Georgia Army National Guard in 2004, and I deployed with them to Yusufiyah, Iraq as a tank crewmember in 2005-2006 and to Jalalabad, Afghanistan as a cavalry scout in 2009 (assigned as a Police Mentor Trainer). Upon my return from Afghanistan, I finished college and commissioned through ROTC.

I start the Army Reconnaissance Course this Saturday. Then, I'll have a 4-week break followed by pre-Ranger, then Ranger school. I'll be easy to spot because of my gray hair.

I am currently in good shape, but I want to be in the best shape of my life before October. I am also trying to add some weight.
