Introduction

Post by The_Other »

Hi, my name is Tyler. I'm 25 years old, have had some college and currently am a bouncer at a nightclub. I joined the army a little less than a month ago with an 11x op 40 contract. I ship out November 5th, 2012. I have already browsed some of the forums and have found many answers to questions I had, and to some I didn't even know I had. I look forward to learning and hopefully contributing to this community later on.

For my PT
Push ups: 45
Sit ups: 35
2 mile run: 15:07

I realize I have a great deal of improvement to make and am working on increasing my pt in the months to come. I also had the privilege of speaking with and running with 2 rangers (2/75) who were on leave. It was encouraging to see how professional, down-to-earth, and sincere they were when sharing about their experiences. I am committed to becoming a ranger.

Ranger Jim, I do not have their full names, but I should see them tomorrow for future soldier training. I will ask them and their RASP graduation date if you like. I will PM you the information.

Good baseline. Time is short, start running! Never, never quit!
