Post by DerekD7777 »

I'm a future soldier my mos is 11x option 3 and i'm leaving to basic training at Fort Benning next month :D I was told by my recruiter that Rangers are the toughest most intelligent soldiers out in combat and i might get a chance to volunteer at the end of basic :D I'm the type of person that only believes in winning cause it's fun!! I'm prepared for basic right now!!!

My personal records:
76 push ups
77 sit ups

Thanks for the welcome Ranger Steadfast, option 3 means your not guaranteed a ranger or airborne slot at the end of basic training.

Wouldn't that just be 11X then? Just curious.

Get rid of everything BUT your ship date. You can put 11x in front of your date.

Option 3 is "choice of training" meaning you get to pick your job, which is the standard option for everyone. You have the standard 11x contract. Keep an eye out for the Ranger Liason's brief when you get to reception down at benning so you can get that Ranger contract added on.
"Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorius triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."
