Introduction

Post by Gootch175 »

Ok here goes.... I stumbled accross this site while I was looking for Ranger school pictures (wasn't important to me at the time). I was in 1/75 CCo 3rd platoon 1992-1996. I was a Floor Shiner, Gunner, RTO, & Rifle Teamleader. I was on lock down for Somila the day I returned from graduating Ranger school 10-8-93. Welcome Back! That was a great time. They did feed me though! I went on the Hatian vacation. I survided SF Combat diver they gave me a bubble the second time. I participated in the Best Ranger Comp. in 1996. We did not finsh but were the only team to fall out due to injury and were doing very well to that point. My partner did 2 miles up Big John DIck in Doloniga with a torn ACL/MCL. That my friends is a tough S.O.B. I'll never forget that. The 75th Regmt got the guns anyway. I ETS's and Joined the MI National Guard. Co F 425 INF (airborne) met some more ex-bat boys there. I live in Cadillac, MI. I am a Project Manager for an Engineering firm. In my travels I met many PJ's, CCT, Seals, SF, Delta, 1st, 2nd and 3rd bat boys but the time and names start to slip away. I'll see if I can find some of them here. Thanks for creating the site.
