I’m currently in the National Guard and also have a GED. I know both of those things are going to give me problems trying to become a Ranger. However I have a plan and I wanted to see what SFC Hit_it or anyone else thought about it. As far as the GED goes I found a place where they say that I can get my highschool diploma quickly because I already have a GED. http://www.amercoastuniv.edu/american_a ... _schol.htm

As far as the Guard thing goes I know I wont be able to get an option 40 contract but I read somewhere on these boards that if I go to Korea that I will have choice of duty station and that they recruit rangers from Korea. So with that in mind would I be able to get a one-year tour in Korea and then go to BAC and RIP? Also if the diploma thing isn’t going to work could I just take some EarmyU online classes and earn those 15 college credits to be able to attend BAC and RIP?
No matter what happens and how everything works out I am going to still try to become a Ranger. I don't care if it takes me years on end to do it I’m willing to wait. Hell I had to wait 2 years for the option to even go active duty. Thanks in advance for any replies
