Questions about RASP1

Post by noah.t. »

So I am leaving for basic in a couple months and I have been hitting the gym for about 2 or 3 months now getting ready. I can currently do 80 good pushups and 90 situps in 2 min 7 pullups and 5 mile in 38 minutes. I cant find the pt requirements for RASP1 so I dont know where I currently stand on my physical readiness for RASP1. Any help on what I should do for workouts to get ready for the last month would be greatly appreciated.

Also is OSUT very challenging because I want to be as ready as possible for RASP.

OSUT will not adequately prepare you for RASP. There is a lot of material already here to answer your questions. Scan this forum, the PT forums, Recruiting and 'letters from school' forums, maybe others.
Bottom line: don't sweat the scores they require. Just do your absolute best, that will either cut it or it won't. Regiment won't accept someone who gets to the max points then stops, Rangers do their best, period.
