Hi all,
I want to send a deployed Ranger a care package for Christmas in memory of my grandfather who was a Merrill's Marauder. It has to go to a Ranger because my grandfather would have insisted on that. I would appreciate the name and APO address of a deployed Ranger, as well as a list of a few items you think should definitely be included and would be appreciated by this Ranger.
When my grandfather was in his last few months he got a lot of love from Rangers on this board and when he passed I even got personal calls and emails from some of the members here. So, if a member of this board is deployed i'd like to send the package to him.

I understand what and why you want to do this and I admire it... but you do realize that by telling you about someone/some unit that is deployed would NOT be a good thing right. OPSEC and all.

That did occur to me after I made the post. I found a site that will send a package to a random soldier. I suppose I can use them and make a request that, if possible, the package go to a Ranger.
