My new ride!

Post by BruteForce »

Years in the making, I finally bought the truck I've always wanted.

Specs:

82 miles on the odometer
6.7 Cummins Turbo Diesel (CTD)
Ram 3500 Dually Laramie / Resistol Edition
Mega-Cab
In dash: 6CD, iPod, Rearview camera, Entertainment, Sat. Radio
U-Connect Bluetooth Phone / Memo / Voice command system
Leather (with heated and power seats)
Power brake/accelerator adjustment
Power Sun-Roof w/vent
Overhead DVD w/XBOX360 entertainment system

Bought it so I could buy and tow a 41' Roadwarrior 395RW Toy Hauler.

In the next few days, I'll be installing the sliding 5th wheel hitch and the 3 axle brake controller (Prodigy P3) and Edge Juice w/Attitude chip set/monitor.

Very nice indeed. I guess that you couldn't get the dealership to toss in a CB Radio though ?

CB Radio, eh? Used to have one of those in my "souped" up Chevy Chevette back in 1985. Put flame pin striping down the windows, had way over sized racing slicks, a perfectly placed hole in the muffler (to give it that turbo sound) and dual CB antennae. Met my wife in that car, and yet somehow - she's stayed with me since.

On a serious note, though, I do keep a SPOT and UHF radio in my truck just in case..

I wish. My ass hurts from shitting out all the cash (for down payments) on the truck, RV, hitch & brake controller.

I sold some stock while it was doing well (about two weeks ago) to put down money. The rest is just creative financing to get payments where we need them to be.

We consider the truck & RV our get-of-of (name your location here <Utah, America, etc>) and disaster recovery plan. :D
