You aren't going to win a national match with it but it will get you through a day at the range. It's good enough.

All of the above.

But an old timer told me if you lubed the cases like full length resizing of rifle cases you could reload them..... but I'm not doing it!!!

Pros:
Cheap.

Available.

All bang, no pop.

Cons:
Filthy. Victory Drive whore filthy.

Many indoor ranges will not let you shoot the stuff.

Can't reload (I don't care what one old timer with a deathwish said).

It's all of the above, I've shot a shit load and at least you can still get your hands on it (most of the time). Another downfall is that if you are shooting the steel cased stuff it can be treacherous on extractors, especially pistols, so I wouldn't shoot it all the time. Took a thousand rounds to a TEES course couple years ago, didn't have a single misfire, failure to feed, failure to eject. I was content if not happy and didn't "rip me wallet of me ass."

I have quite a bit stockpiled in case the Obamans (er, I mean "Zombies") come.

Since its readily available, I have shot close to 30,000 rounds of it through an XDm. All the dirty quotes...true. Never had a misfire, bad eject, nothing. I have seen no evidence of damage to extractor. It is range ammo pure and simple. Since you clean your weapons as I do...shouldnt be a problem.

Shot about 1500 last weekend and I lubed the weapon wet, slide grease, ect... to see if it helped on the buildup. Looked like I shit in the breach. But....it did fire.

You could probably shit in a XD and it would still fire. Or you can load Wolf ammo and get the same results, obviously. :D

Yeah, and you'll have to watch with the tolerances on some weapons. Saw a guy bring a Sig 556 to the range and then produce a case of Wolf (wondered why you would want to run economy through a porsche, but that's beside the point). Anyway, with that Sig 556 being a fairly fine tuned piston-driven AR, for some reason it wasn't cycling the Wolf. Took my brass Fiocchi no problem so I managed to trade 50 fiocchi for 100 wolf to the guy. Luckily my Frankengun built-up AR 15 has no problems eating all types of ammo.

Ranger McD,

The vast majority of Wolf ammo is berdan primed; which can't be reloaded.
