Introduction - Mom
Hi everybody. My husband was fortunate in finding this website and has enjoyed it so far. I'm a little late in signing up, but better late than never!
I am the proud Mom of a 3/75 Ranger. Our son graduated from RIP in May of 2008. Our son is our youngest and so, for me, it has been especially hard having him so far away. At the same time, we know that he is doing what he wants to do and we support him 110%. Whenever I think about it, I am amazed by the courage shown by the young men and women in our military.
I'm not sure that I will have that much time to contribute to the forums as I work full-time and and go to school 3/4 time at night. However, I will be a faithful lurker and my husband is excellent at keeping me up to date on things I "need to know."
:)

Re: Introduction - Mom
Welcome fellow Ranger Mom. Trust me you'll find lots of encouragement here. My Ranger is my oldest and that hasn't been a piece of cake either. I think I'm getting better at accepting his lack of communication and being comfortable that he is with an extraordinary group of men who will push him, test him and watch his back from here to hell and back. Yeah, that works for me. hang tough, Mom, you've done your part the rest is up to God and a very special band of brothers. RLTW.
I can do all things through Christ Who strengthens me.

Lot of 3/75 parents stopping by. Good on you. Need something, ask.

I'm not the way I am because I was a Ranger - I was a Ranger because of the way I am.
