Ranger History

Is the Ranger history seciton found on the 75th RR and USASOC sites sufficient to study for the history section of the General Skills Test? If not, where can I find a better reference?

Find yourself a copy of this book, and read it. It's a great history up to the GWOT.

No need to buy the hardback unless you just want to.
