Tam,
That doesn't give us much information, does it?
Why are you here? Do you want to be a Ranger? If so, why?

What is your physical condition? Have you given yourself an APFT?
Post the results here. We ask these sort of questions so we can help you acheive your goal.

I am sending you a Rules Of Engagement PM. Check your mail box. Read and heed.

Welcome.

Welcome, Tams. I guess you are here becasue you are interested in becoming an Army Ranger, and if so, thank you for your interest. While you are probably not aware of it, your use of "Lead The Way" as part of your screen name is inappropriate. "Rangers Lead The Way" is an accolade earned by the blood of Rangers. You are not part of that heritage. So learn from this. In fact, as an assignment, write a short essay of exactly 250 words based on research that explains why the motto "Rangers Lead The Way" means what it does and post your essay in this thread. And take steps to immediately to change your screen name. Other Rangers will be along who will not tolerate your using "Lead The Way" as part of your screen name.

Tam, I have read all of your posts to date. You are just not getting the fact that this is not Myspace or Facebook are you? Everyone has been very kind to this point but I must warn you, if you continue to post and ask questions that you could easily find using the search function, your stay here will be brief and painfull. If you continue to forget to use the word Ranger when addressing Rangers on this site, we will view you as a hostile element and the range will be cleared hot on you.

You are 18 years old, many brave warriors on this site had already seen a lifetime of combat by that age, please show them the respect they deserve and read our rules and regulations before posting even 1 more time.

Good luck in your quest to become a US Army Ranger, somehow I think you will need it.

I’m not impressed. For what it’s worth welcome to the site and may your stay not be as short as I predict.

Where are you from? What are your plans? How do you believe does your presence fit on this site and will you be able to contribute anything? Most of all will this site bring any benefit to you?

Welcome TamLea.

As my brother Rangers have already described your name is unacceptable as a non-Ranger. Down the road if you persue Ranger training and graduate to Ranger you can have your original name back.

Maybe in Mexico, Tam is Mexican for Tamale?

Tom is American for Thomas, perhaps a typo?

Maybe Lea plays the Tambourine and has combined the instrument with its name?
