Hello Rangers, I am a 13b, cannon crewmember currently serving in Afghanistan. XXXXXXXXXX
I am re-enlisting soon to change my mos to 11b and go to Ranger school. It will be up to the needs of the Army where I get stationed but I'm hoping they will send me to the 75th Ranger Regiment, my platoon sgt says its not likely but hey one can always hope. Well I guees thats it

You are not going to get assigned to the 75th....this is a volunteer unit. Your best bet is to wait until you get to your new unit, get a slot for Ranger School and get your tab, and then put in your packet to come here. Depending on your rank you will either go to RIP or ROP. But, either way, I'd get my tab first...just makes life a little easier for you once you're in! Good luck and safe return home from The 'Stan.
