Introduction
Hello all, my name is James I was a medic with 1st ranger BN. I got out last year, after getting out I worked as a contractor. Now I am debating getting back in. I have sent my resume to some companies with no response and there aren’t many civilian jobs out there for an experience Ranger medic. That’s about it about me. I am here to just talk to friends and keep up on thing going on.

Welcome fellow medic. I experienced the same frustration with finding work that would give me the same satisfaction. I found out that the only thing I was qualified for was a Paramedic. I was insulted in part, because I had at least 1 Paramedic per platoon that I helped trained.
Long story short, I am re-entering Active Duty, not as a medic but as a chaplain. Perhaps you should consider becoming a PA? The Army needs good PAs with Ranger experience and training.
BTW, welcome back to the community.
