Loan officer / Mortgage Broker

Post by Nomad »

Just got a new job as a loan officer with a mortgage company in the Sacramento area.

They're telling us that we need to test out for our license within the next 90-120 days.

Who here has taken the test and can offer advice?

If they are telling you that you need to pass a test for a "loan officer" smack the shit out of the cunt for bullshitting you.

California has no test specifically for loan officers or mortgage lenders. Real Estate licenses are divided into three parts: Sales Assistant, Agent (Realtor), and Broker.

Which test are they making you pass?

You should be covered by your company's license. If you have other questions I might be able to assist you.

Although real estate regulations are by state, you might see what help Intel Toad can be. In Nebraska you can take pre-test classes both in person or on internet.

Good luck!
