If you enlist as a normal leg infantry soldier(not that i would want to

), do you have any say in where you go. For example, could a soldier request to go to the 101st or would they just be sent somewhere based on "needs of the Army"?

actually the "station of choice" option has expanded quite a bit.

people may now request places like Drum, Hood, and Stewart in their enlistment contract. the same rules apply with being eligible for it though.
