Becoming a Ranger

So far already I've completed Basic as a split op and want to go Active and become a ranger as a 96B...I hear support MOS can become rangers now. However I'm kind of at a loss on how to do this. I'm a senior in high school and I've already go the go ahead from my Sergeant Major to go active but I'm not sure how to do it. My ASVAB was a 93 with a GT of 131, and my APFT score was a 250...will this qualify me for ranger school...Thanks for your help in advance

Do you simply want to go to Ranger school and wear the Tab, or serve as a Ranger in the 75th Ranger Regt?

If you want to serve in a Ranger Bn, you must get what is called an 'option 40'. Anything short of this and you most probbably will fail in your attempt to serve as a Ranger. If you just want to earn that cool Tab, you have more options on how to get it.

The thing is Ranger RTO is that when I search the topic i get thousands of matches and nothing seems to be too relevant and I can't narrow the search. Honestly I really just want the challenge of going to Ranger school. I really want to be part of the 82 Airborne. I haven't really looked much at the Ranger Regiment, but I'm pretty sure I would be happy there also.

There are dozens of threads about RIP (wich is the path you need to get into a Ranger Bn. ) and then read about Ranger school in the Ranger forum. After reading about each topic for 2-3 hours, I'm sure you will have a better idea of which path is a better fit for you.
