Curious about the path of Option 40

Hello,
My name is Daniel, I am 21 and live in North Carolina. I am currently working as many things including, cancer patient caretaker, musician, and carpender. I am a future soldier who has a 11X/ABR/Ranger contract. I am shipping on the 26th, but was curious about the actual path that a young soldier takes to get from BCT to Ranger School so I could know what to fully expect. I understand that after passing RIP I will be assigned to the 75th Ranger Regiment, but will I be called into Theater and expected to carry out Ranger tasks with only 3 weeks additional training? Or, will I not be combat effective until after graduating Ranger School? My recruiter is a Ranger himself and has explained some of this to me, but I understand that he has a job to complete and a quota to meet, so I was hoping that I could get some outside information as well as what he has provided. Thank you Rangers.
