Plastic Skill Badges

Post by wellfed »

I'm getting a set of these, I just ordered a set of badges. I just got one a buddy gave me to try and I can't tell them apart. except one's plastic and the other is metal. Doesn't scratch or fade. They're made out of the same type plastic that office desk phones are made of. My seat belt keeps rubbing the black paint off the metal ones and I'm wondering if anyone has got the same problem and have you tried these yet.

Ranger Wellfed, they are pretty much the norm around Ft Campbell, my husband has all plastic ones now and says that they are lighter and they don't poke him as hard, like when he has his IBA on and everything. The metal ones used to dig into his chest and stuff but these give a little and aren't so bad. You can also get them at most clothing and sales at active duty posts, I've seen them here and I believe he got a few online at the AAFES site.

Wearing badges on your uniform is pretty gay to begin with. Like having airborne wing license plates for your car. Like pretty much everyone in Fort Bragg......
