I think the saddest part of your entire story is the fact that the VA won't give you 10% for not being able to rub one out  ..... that's just a damn shame......

Redrose100 wrote:old13bm5 - The Infamous Frostbite Award – You get this when you hail from Wisconsin and proceed to explain to everyone in your new unit that the Cold in Korea cannot be nearly as bad as the cold you grew up in. Then when on patrol you realize that your gloved finger barely fits inside your trigger guard so you take it upon yourself to cut the glove tip off from the joint to the tip of the finger. Then your First Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Squad leader, and Medic all tell you that you will get frostbite if you do not repair/replace said glove. You think that this is good to go. You newly freed finger is now married to your trigger and you are in complete control. When you hit the guardpost and realize that to get your finger divorced you need a substantial amount of warm water. You start to get the idea that maybe you were wrong when your finger turns a dandy shade of blue/black and then the fingernail begins to fall off.

Now you know you are in it pretty deep when you show the multi hued finger to the SP6 medic and he proceeds to tell you that you are a big dummy and at this point you simply agree whilst wishing he would stop squeezing said digit. You cannot really feel it but you know that at some point this is really going to hurt. Note that here is where this woeful tale encounters a split in the trail. Several of the Buddy Fucker’s in the aid station have taken it upon themselves to create the legend of the poor grunt that went downrange and met the lovely lass in Son-yu-ri who had the ability to turn your finger a fine ebony color. I am not he and have no further knowledge of this fable. Now we shall proceed with my sorry tale. The SP6 then sends for your Platoon Sergeant who arrives sans your squad leader. This could be a problem as the @#$% is now rolling uphill in defiance of all physical laws of nature. The PS agrees with the SP6 that you truly are a Big Dummy and quite possibly one of the silliest puke bags he has ever had to deal with. Then the slide show starts in your head. Slide 1. “He shall not remember it was I with the modified gloveâ€
"Energetically will I meet the enemies of my country..."

I can't rightly say that I have ever met a man that talks as much as you do.
I can't rightly say that I want to meet another one neither.

I would find a way to rub one out, come hell or high water, by God, I'd smack that little fucker off the corner wall for an hour if that's what it takes! Beat that little bastard like it owes ya money!!!

Never quit and someday, you'll be a champion rubber outter.
