My SITREP

Post by driverk »

Today, I signed my 4 years and 20 weeks, 11x Opt 40 contract. I'm scheduled to begin basic on 20060810 and Airborne on 20061127 (I believe, I don't have the contract in front of me at the moment). The counselor says that I will have a gap of a few weeks between the end of OSUT and the start of Airborne, so I'm not sure what will happen during that time. He had to talk to his higher ups and make a spot for me. He was a great counselor and really took the time to help me out. He helped to give me this chance, and I'm not going to let him or anyone else down.

I just want to thank everyone on this site for all of the information that is provided and I know I will learn a lot more before my time to ship arrives.

Congrats.

Learn as much as possible and get yourself physically prepared before you ship.

Wasn't me, dude.

I'm sure the Admin who did change would like you to execute 25 for that lack of attention to detail.
