I'm not going to rant too much as I know I'm preaching to the choir. However I still struggle watching the news and these "lovely" folks are new to me. All I can say is if that woman were even in the same state the day my husband was buried, there would have been another funeral to plan. Obviously she has mental problems but I believe she will eventually feel the wrath of a grieving widow. I also believe that widow will get off with temporary insanity. I simply can't imagine having to face THAT when trying to get past all the other difficulties on the day you bury your spouse/child/etc.

The second guy is just an idiot. He couldn't even defend himself. He's not nearly as offensive to me, as he isn't necessarily in your face and forcing me to see his BS.

That first woman though...... DAMN....... she needs to get a little closer to her God. I'm glad there are laws being passed in some states to try and prevent this type of thing from happening. When a soldier dies it's tough enough to keep things private as the media is often involved, however to have to read those signs and deal with the added attention..... I can't even imagine. Wouldn't it be great if someone were able to find out where this lady was headed next and bring enough supporters to simply line the roadway and block this woman out. For those grieving to be protected from her and see signs of support from others would be incredible. Something to think about...

To be honest I think the widow could go in front of a jusry and say yes I did it, no I'm not sorry, and I knew exactly what I was doing and they would still find her not guilty. Personally I would applaud the widow. I'm hoping that Mississippi will soon follow suit with Iowa and enact the same laws barring this thing from happening here as well.

This woman is a disgrace to our country and the human race as a whole.

After watching that sickening display, I have that voice in my head that says kill. What a disgrace. Id love to place an IED for her when shes enroute to her next harassment session. MAYBE then I'll start seeing her view about IED's.

Id love to be a fly on the wall when that sack of shit, along with the whole congregation, meets God.

It's not her, it's a sick fuck out of Kansas that runs the church. They protest at gay funerals and are trying to connect what Soldeirs do with supporting gay rights.

If they want to protest like the other idiot, fine. But they shouldn't be allowed to hurt families of fallen service members like with sick protests/

I couldn't even watch the whole thing. WTF. I will never understand these liberal bleeding hearts who don't even understand that it's because of people who gave their lives, and the ones who were willing to, that they have the ability to protest in the first place. UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!

I have recently found myself best-described in this way... "my husband fights for your first amendment right, while I stay here to ensure you don't abuse it..."

This is abuse, eventually someone will deal with them.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We had to deal with these fuckers at SSG Piper's (19th Group) funeral here in Mass.

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Pipes, but he was very close to one of my friends, who asked me if I would help provide a police motorcycle escort for the funeral.

Silverback is exactly right. They inform the local PD that they are coming, what their intent is, and that if they are not provided a permit and protection then they will and have sued several cities and towns, this is their whole finance operation. They are not you're typical dope smoking long haired hippie war protesters, most of them are attorney's, which makes the situation that much worse.

We were furious as well when we found out what they wanted to do, and of course we talked of bloodletting, we talked of doing things that can't be put on here.

The plan we formulated though worked out very well under the circumstance's:

The shitbags had to be given a permit, though it was strictly limited to one-half hour in a "designated area" near the church.

After said shitbags were put in place, we moved every police mounted horse right in front of them, with the horse's ass's right in their face (this provided their 'personal safety' from the crowd, ya following me here) as well as numerous soft lumps to land on should said shitbag keel over from lack of Patriotism.

Next to them on both sides we placed numerous police pipe and drum members. God i love the pipes....

As the family and friends of SSG Chris Piper proceeded to the church, they could not see these motherfuckers or their signs behind this huge line of horse's and whenever they began to yell their profanities, the piper's would start playing and totally drown them out. Couldn't hear a fucking peep from these chickens.

They were unsuccessful in every attempt to ruin this hero's funeral or to upset his family with their traitorous blatherings....

After everyone was inside the church, the shitbags were rounded up, put in their vehicles and escorted to the town line post haste, with a warning that their lives would be in jeopardy should they return, as we are no longer responsible for their 'personal safety while protesting'.

Would we have loved to handle it otherwise? Goddamned skippy we would, but we are better than that, we are better than they are, smarter than they are. And the bottom line was, it wasn't about us or our anger towards them, it was for Chris and his family, to have peace, dignity and honor. And it worked out perfectly considering.

It's a small world out there, and we all know that strange things can happen in the night.

Rest in peace Pipes. Cams out.
