In RIP I wondered why I found all kinds of throwable fruit in the woodline. When I got to Pre Ranger I knew why
A 1/75 93-97
B&HHC 2/75 97-99
RS 3,4&5-95

This mighty soldier on the eve of the war he waged
Told his troops of lessons learned from battles fought.
"May your heart grow bolder like an iron-clad brigade"
Said this leader to his outnumbered lot.

For us they used throwable fruit as CMH grenades in RIP.

Ah Pre-Ranger...
"who wants some "muthaf-----in, cak suckin' rice?!?!?...You muthaf---ers like beets?!?!?! You got six F'in minutes to eat all this chow" So we eat it all as fast as we can, once six minutes are up the instructors realize we left some pieces of rice....then we hear "GA GA GA GOWWWW"
Whole class looks around confused. SSG Runcy says "GA GA GA GOWWWW" and we still look confused. He gets pissed and says "Gawddammit men...you are taking direct fire....You're up...he sees you, you're down...you're up...he sees you...you're down...." over and over and we IMT the whole way from the chowline to the woodline. I felt like the chow we just ate was stacked up to the back of my throat, I'm not sure how I didn't throw up all that food. We get back to the chowline and one of the other instructors tells us "you will thank us for all this chow when you get to Florida men" Then we did about a zillion flutter kicks for not meeting the time hack. Good times.

You need to make sure you bring a bag of marshmellows. Everyone sits around and sings camp fire songs.

None of us could believe how kind and thoughtful the Pre-Rgr instructors were when they first presented us with all of those wonderful jelly doughnuts....

They wouldn't get to sit down and eat three meals a day, 1 hour for each meal, so I'm guessing they would quit.
