I had my 2 week post-op appointment with the doc today.

I really am feeling a whole lot better. I went back to work yesterday, and found out that I had been granted an extra 24 hours of PTO to cover my time off, which really, really surprised me.

Anyways, I have a rehab appointment Thursday, and am expecting the next 4 weeks to be flexibility and strengthening exercises and a release to return to cardio activities at the gym, and the following 6 weeks to be significant conditioning/strengthening activities. My doc says his Rehab program is designed to get me back to 100% in 3 months.

I had some kind of reaction to the steri-strips covering the incision, which I kind of expected, doc said it should go away in a few days.

All-in-all, I consider my surgery to be a success, I am regaining strength in my leg, and the numbness is going away, and I don't have the pre-op pain or the post-op sensations I had anymore.
