Introduction
Hello Rangers/Army Vets/DEPpers/Everyone else! I have been looking for Ranger information on the internet since January and today I found this website. I'm glad I finally have such a huge resource to use to find out anything I need to know about the Rangers. And for the record, the search tool on this website actual works compared to other forums I've used.
First off, a little more about me. My name is Wyatt and I joined the DEP in mid February after talking to a recruiter for a few months. I have option 40 in my contract because I'm ready to change my life and realize my potential, and then exceed that. Rangers to me is not a job, not free bragging rights, and not something you do to say you did. I look at Rangers and see a life changing experience that can't be replicated anywhere else in life. Ever since I signed my contract I think about what I'm about to begin in June every day, and that turns straight into motivation and confidence. I read about everyone on this site and see the challenges they've faced and realize what it takes to be a Ranger.
I know this is somewhat of a lengthy introduction and probably sounds like it's coming out of my butt, but I'm on somewhat of a high right now after finding a website with the group of people on it that I'm trying to emulate. I have the utmost respect for you guys which is why I'm doing all I can and then some to become what you are now. I've been talking to my brother (93W in training in San Antonio) and exercising my butt off in hopes that I won't be completely caught with my pants down during my long road of training on my way to becoming a Ranger, and finding this site is just icing on the cake :D .
Once again, I'm happy to be aboard and sorry for the semi-lengthy read.

Welcome Wyatt.
And yes, the search button works very well. Go ahead and burn it up, if for some reason you brake it, we'll fix it.

Took you almost 3 months to find Ranger information on the internet? Type Army Ranger into Google and this site is like the 4th choice, I can't imagine anyone who wanted to find info, not being able to for months.

Run harder, and PT a lot more.
Whatever you're doing isn't enough.
This site is a great resource, but when the rubber meets the road, it's all up to you.
If you're the one who actually arrives at RIP out of the 120 or so who signed the Opt40 line, let us know then.
I won't wish you luck, you'll make your own.
