Can't go wrong either way. Just be mindful of overtraining, and injuries.

I've been running 7 days a week. It pays off for endurance and distance, but once in awhile your legs will be sore. I don't see anything wrong with running everyday though, especially if you are going to be doing it in OSUT.

Mule, give your body a break...how about just running 5 days a week?

Running everyday ain't friggin good for you.

Be mindful of your upperbody strength.

Short lesson...know any long distance running folks with decent upper bodies? Nope, running too much canibalizes your body...you literally eat yourself up, starting with your muscles.

Try something like running 2-5 miles 3-4 times a week, and doing a longer one once a week.

Treadmills are good for when you can't get outside.....

Where do I like to run?

I don't. I did all my running in the army and as a cop. If I do run, it's to the fridge for another beer. J/k...okay, maybe not!

If I was running? Hmm...... I'd mix it up. HS track to measure speed on the 2 miler, at the beach, out in the woods on trails (watch for twisting your ankle.).....anywhere you feel comfortable.

You can take your car and measure out the distance around your house, that way you won't have an excuse not to run.

How's that?

I didn't run very much in osut either.

Devilrat, make sure to work on your distance too. Run 5 miles, even if you are slow, don't worry about "working up".

Well being that I went to AIT, we ran 3 days a week, not less than 5 miles, no slower than 7 minute miles. Then got to airborne school, what a fucking joke that was.
