Couldn't they have done that when I first got married?

In my RIP class, we got to fastrope from the Space Shuttle. While it was re-entering the atmosphere.

bunch a damn liars. I can honestly say, that I've roped out of a C-5.

there's just something stupidly unmanly about airlanding in a C-5 and standing around waiting for the nose to set down. so we roped the doors up front to get off that fucker. that was a rough one too. musta been 6, 7 feet.

Ranger Support Company

Well to clear things up, there are no women in the Ranger Support Company. Soldiers wear the maroon beret until completion of RIP, ROP, or the Combat Skills Course. We are doing the CSC now. It consists of classes and all the graded events of RIP, plus the RPAT, and marksmanship and CQM. Those who fail an event get the opportunity to retest, and those who fail the retest continue the course, but will not recieve their tan beret at the end of the course. Once the RSC is completely stood up, soldiers will begin to enter the battalion through the normal RIP/ROP process.

I had to do the fastrope while carrying an entire battalion support by fire position. 240's, Carl G's and the Little Bird that went down.
