Asthma Question For Rangers

I have a friend that had athsma in their early teens. They have not had any problems since then and have been very athletic. I have read the athsma medical standards and searched the site. My question is this: Are there any current or recent Battalion Rangers on this site that have a similar background? Thank you for your time. Buck27

#1. If there is a will there is a waiver.

#2. Nothing is a big deal unless you make it a big deal.

I had asthma as a child. It didnt affect my enlistment nor attending any training in the Army. The Ranger who gave you the advice about not making it a big deal that you had asthma was dead on. If you bring it up and make noise about it, it will haunt you. Just keep you piehole shut and drive on through all your training.
