Problem private update
The young Ranger who was the subject of this thread http://www.armyranger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=12982 has over the last six weeks done a 180 degree turn and is now excelling in his duty position. There is talk of sending him to School as soon as he gets a deployment under his belt. Thanks for the advice.

He took a face from the ancient gallery
And he walked on down the hall

Excellent sitrep SAWgunner. I was wondering what ever happend to this kid the other day. It would appear his NBA attitude has improved, as well as your skill/leadership abiities in handling the situation. I commend both of you!
As a side note, how do you like being a mentor now? I have seen your mentor thread and looks like that is going good as well.

Must have started when his feet were in the deep fryer!SAWgunner4fun wrote:The young Ranger who was the subject of this thread http://www.armyranger.com/bb/viewtopic.php?t=12982 has over the last six weeks done a 180 degree turn and is now excelling in his duty position. SG4F,
Obviously, you took a young Ranger, both in maturity and mindset, with what must have seemed an almost impossible task and got his "mind right."
Don't forget to put this down on paper and document his progress.
This speaks volumes about your own leadership abilities and future potential as well. Well done.
Don't get cocky!
