Does anyone have info on whether you are automatically out if you sprain your ankle. Also if you are how long of a wait till you can start over?

Depending on the grade of the sprain and an individuals ability to stomach pain. Chances are that if the person is well enough to make it he'll make it. Otherwise it could be a minor sprain that is facilitating a grand bout of self denial and rationalization.

Depends on the individual.......I got a pretty good sprain in Pre- Ranger and finished, and then I managed to sprain my ankle several times (and twice real bad) in Ranger School yet stayed the course and Graduated with my class.....if it is really, really, really bad he might want to hold over and heal...I recycled my first RIP Class with a knee injury from the runs......held over and finished the next class.

Class 1 sprains are gay. Only sally's even notice them.

I went through the last two weeks of sopc with a class 2 no sweat. Purple, nasty, swollen.. Cool. A guy I know went through SFAS and got selected with two class 3 sprains.

Depends on the person. Those who choose to drive on can usually manage with all but the worst sprains.
