What happens?

What would happen if you made it through RIP and into one of the ranger battalions, but couldn't prove to your NCOs that you had what it took to go to Ranger School? Would they give you the boot and transfer you into another unit after a certain amount of time because of that?

They will take a personal interest in watching you suffer. This usually means torture to the point of terminating Ranger status, or death.

Yeah, but just before you get DXed they'll have you clean all the bathrooms and strip and polish the hallways.

Not quite old enough to get smoked by those Rangers yet, Ranger FO. Still just a sophomore in high school.

It's pretty much expected.

If you ever want to get promoted you do. I am always amazed by the rest of the army when they hear that in the Ranger Batts everyone E-5 and above has their Ranger tab. Even the 82nd guys don't know that. Just think the advantage in training that give us. Now all you young men, just cause you graduate from Ranger school doesn't mean you are a super soldier or even a good one. I saw buddy fuckers make it through and some very squared away 75th Rangers fail. There is luck and bad luck involved in getting through.
