Were do you think the RACK cmae from. My platoon was the first platoon in the Regiment to have them, only because our PSG designed it, while we utilized platoon funds to by the material and sew the shit up ourselves. I have the honor of saying I was one the first 10 people to ever jump a RACK. Yeah, Tactical Tailor is kind of a clown.

So why didn't one of you hooahs patent the ideas whenyou came up wiht them?

We had a E-7 at regiment who bought a sewing machine, and used to patent ideas he saw other hooahs using, and sell the patents to places like Ranger Joes and US Cav.

Bottom line is TT's stuff is 100% better than anything Blackhawk!!!! is producing from their Vietnamese sweatshops nowadays. Don't know the guy that runs Tactical Taylor but they seem to get the stuff guys over here order pretty quick. I don't really think it matters if the guy is leg or not.

Gents,
Some clarification is needed. TT never stole the RACK idea from Bn. A chest rig with sewn on pockets was brought to TT BY someone from Bn who asked if he could make up some more of them. (I do not know who made the original one.)
TT made a rifleman and medic version, sold many to the boys, and was told by Bn that they would be ordering more, a lot more. The actual contract for the RACK went to a company called SDS. Even so, TT has continued to support 2/75 and the rest of the Regiment by making whatever they needed, including over 1300 M4 slings and a special subload for flashbangs for 3/75 and numerous other items.
How do I know this? Because I have been friends with Logan since he was still in the Army. I have acted as an "advisor" and have had a hand in designing other items. He is a stand up guy, even for a leg!

WELL...If were taking credit for this and that......Myself and the rest of 1st platoon, A co 1-75 would like to take credit for regiment getting pockets on our sleeves, excessive use of velcro, shaggy hair, oakley's, use of non issue footwear, and everything else that we used and got in trouble for after we got back from OEF1. Oh, and we invented CQB, too.

Correction, excessive use of Hook and Pyle tape, and we invented Battle drill #6. Out
