Yeah, a tech friend of mine gave me that one awhile back. Something about a digital watch and the number of lines each number takes up on the display being the same...half the lines of 12 and 13 come out to the same number.

That's not true.

On a digital watch, 12 has 7 lines. You can't half it in any direction to get 7.

You can, however, cut XII in half, along the X-axis and get VII and ΛII.
