Good SITREP, remember keep your eyes on the prize, if you want an option 40 contract then settle for nothing less. Infantry is a great choice if you ask me, never, ever quit. RLTW

Push ups 50 (71/100)
Sit ups 60 (71/100)
2 mi Run 16:32 through the town track is offline currently. (50/100)
Pullups 7

I had a over-training issue a few weeks back. 3 weeks ago I realized the error in my ways on a 5 mile run and I was just sucking, slowing getting my mileage up and my diet back on track. I had lost some self discipline not being able to eat healthy and it pulled the rug out from me, I am back on track to success and my scores will have improved on the next pt test. 2nd place is the first looser and not getting a go for my score is unacceptable to me. I understand the power of active recovery training now and having a high self-confidence in all I do It pushed my score on the ASVAB and it will push my score on the APFT. No excuses only actions and goals. I am waiting on paperwork to comeback for part of my packet,I did pass my TAPAS test it was just misinterpreted.I just need my suitability review and physical. Will give another sit rep in a few weeks.

I want you to read this statement again. This was not a loss of self-discipline, this was you quitting on yourself. The good news is that you have the ability to recognize your weakness. The concerning news is that you didn't do anything to prevent it. If you are going to be serious about this, you are going to give yourself a steely-eyed look the the mirror and tell yourself that you are not going to fucking quit.

Optimism isn't going to raise your PT score on your next test; hard work and discipline will. Now go beat your face and never, ever quit on yourself again.

My dad gave us quite the scare the other day, total heart failure. They took him to the post hospital and what could have been his last words were "Rock & Roll" under the oxygen mask right before the chemically induced him into a coma. 4 hours of shocking and trying to capture and enough sedatives to take down a few horses, one helicopter ride later he had been vented and tubed, 4 pm yesterday they woke him up removed the tube but he couldn't talk so they gave him a pen, I told him he got to ride on a chopper again and he wrote "RECONDO" on the sheet of paper. after an hour they let him talk and he said he was upset because he didn't get to ride with the doors open and his feet hanging out. After we told him what happened with his heart I am going to make a T-shirt for him with the next words he spoke. "There I am my M-16 jams, what do I do ? There I am a hole in my RB-15(Rubber Boat) what do I do ? on the back its gonna say ROCK & ROLL. He's fucking tough even in his older age, his rate dropped to 20 bpm and his body was fighting the sedatives for hours, I believe if he wasn't that tough he wouldn't have made it, and in true fashion he stayed cool, calm, and collected through the whole thing, cracking jokes while dying. Im thankful this year I didn't loose my mentor, my father, my best friend. God forbid he ever reads this thread, as he prefers to stay in the shadows and onward through the fog. Now to see about getting him that chopper ride.

You can thank GRITS by beating yourself into submission with PT. Now go elevate your feet in prayer and thanks.

I didn't ask for a fucking weather report. A simple "Roger that Ranger_____" will suffice. Let your father sleep and go PT godammit. Your scores suck.

Do not ever say smart ass shit like that when you're told to do push-ups. It will make your day much, much worse.

I would not dare intend to be a smart ass to any member of this forum or any veteran Ranger gRavepc. Simply motivated. Will not post any weather reports unless requested.

A father like yours doesn't deserve to be let down by his son. Get your ass in gear! If you can muster half his fight, you may make it.
