Negative Ranger Jim.
I was told by my recruiter once I sign a form with him it would allow him and I to sit down and see what's in the system and see what's there and if I wanted to reserve anything I could.

Ranger Centermass,
I called and asked my recruiter and inquired about the form and I was told that it is a consent form that my parents sign since I'm not 18. I want to make sure that me or my parents aren't signing anything that we shouldn't be.

Rangers, it's been quite a long time since my last post. In that time I've done a lot of soul searching and growing up. I've graduated high school and taken a few college courses as well as working full time. In that time I have learned that no one owes me anything in life and I have to work hard to reach my goals.
I thought I wanted to do other things and pursue other careers but I always came back to pursuing my goal of becoming a Ranger Medic. With that said I had to lose about 30 pounds before my recruiter would work with me. I have since done that and have gone from 220 pounds all the way down to 185. Every thing a Ranger has said on this forum about life is 100% true. I never gave up and I lost the weight.
With the help of the Rangers here and my resources here I fully intend on becoming a Ranger Medic.

That was a good, positive post! The right attitude, not only in becoming a Ranger, but in life will take you far. Keep driving on toward you goal and never slack. How are your APFT scores? Give everything you've got, every time you give and never, ever quit! RLTW

Roger, Rangerjd.
As far as my APFT scores are concerned, they're not where I want them to be. But nothing worth doing in life comes easy. I'll be getting up early before work tomorrow to conduct a test and will have the results posted within 24 hours.

If you use the same determination and self control that you used to lose your weight, in improving your APFT scores, you will be able to reach your goals. Remember, NO SLACK. Give everything you've got, every time you give and never, ever quit! RLTW

I'm meeting with my recruiter tomorrow to start paperwork and look at jobs. He already is aware of my intentions and unwillingness to settle for anything short of a 68w option 40.

Rangers, I have been working with my recruiter for the past week. In that time I've completed all paperwork needed to go to MEPS. I will be going to MEPS Tuesday night and into Wednesday. I will post an update when I come back to include an updated PT test.
