PS, mass exits are crazy! It's like jumping into rush hour traffic. I was slipping away from the horde of jumpers the whole time, I barely had time to slip into the wind before I executed my PLF!

Did you have about 10 people on your "mass tac"?

Just wait until you do it at night, with a few hundred people, on a tarmac, with a real ruck and weapon while trying not to trip over the cargo straps in the A/C, in a real blacked out A/C thats bucking around like it about to fall out of the sky.

Both the C-119 and C-141 are out of the system. We are getting old. At least I admit it.

I still miss the 141. Call me a jackass, but I actually liked jumping it. It ranks right behind the C-17 with me.

Got my last two jumps in last night, I'm now officially a 5 jump chump. :D

My class graduates tomorrow afternoon, pickup for RIP will immediately follow. No word on whether or not I'll get any holdover, but either way I'm determined to see this through! Talk is cheap, especially over the internet, so I'll do what I've got to do, and with a lot of determination I'll be reporting back with good news. Thanks for all the advice, it's all on me now.

Tomorrow will be a really fun day for you. Enjoy every minute of it.

Congratulations Airborne! Now go get that RIP thing done. Remember, keep up the positive attitude, physically give it your 110% and then some, study hard, look out for your buddies, and don't quit. It's going to go by faster than jump school and before you know it you'll have the Ranger tan beret. If you think graduating from jump school feels good, wait until you graduate from RIP.
