Rangers this is my first PT score 190
I know that its not good, but I know that I can improve on it.
I did 63 push ups, 62 sit ups with in the 2:00 minutes allowed and my 2 mile time was 18:23. My PT score was really effected by my run time. I found Ranger Silverback's ways to improve run time, push ups, sit up and I plan on implementing it. Please let me know if there are any other good ways to improve my PT score. Thank you for your help Rangers.

Ranger IDon'tCare I believe that he is close to me, if that is what you are asking. Please clarify.

Welcome to the site Nathan. Congratulations on securing your own option 40 contract.
You have a lot of hard work before you, especially with that run time. Your 18:23 two mile 'run' time is Danger Close to my 2 mile walk time.

Nathan welcome to the site. My first 2 mile was around 18 min also. Of course it was Feb in the teens and that was all just an excuse. Work hard at what you are weak at. That's the only way to succeed.

Ranger RTO yes my run time needs much improvement. I only started running a week before that because it has been so cold outside. I have continued to do sit ups and push ups inside, everyday. I know I can improve that time. Rangers thank you all for your time and support.

Ranger rgrking during the cold weather how did I improve my run time? I find it very difficult to run while being out of shape and starting out in the cold weather. If you have any good advice, it would be greatly appreciated.

I know it's going to suck, but run all you can. You may throw up some, you may have cramps, you may even feel like you won't be able to take another breath. Just keep pushing yourself. Not to the point of death, but enough to tell your body that it's helping and improving your times.

The things that helped me the most were the long steady runs and the runs where you sprint, run, sprint, run. About every 1/4 length of track alternate your run/sprint. Good luck to you. It's not an easy chore.
