Being in Battalion is the best thing I've ever done. Good luck with your training and if you make it and get to deploy you will understand.

(I know some of the Rangers here are doing the right thing though by mentoring these kids and trying not to run 'em off too quick so I'm doing my best to fall in line with that.)

Wasn't gonna rise to the bait but WTF - should also include:

- it never stopped raining
- the bugs/leeches were sucking us dry
- the terrain absolutely sucked
- they said it was 800 AGL but I hit as soon as I tried dropping my ruck
