I believe my ass deserves a kicking. I'm sucking and I apologize to the 1SG if he is indeed a 1SG. I want to be a Ranger because I want respect. Being a Ranger demands respect. I also want to learn how to kick ass and serve my country by laying my life on the line. This is why I want to be an Army Ranger. I will become an Army Ranger.

Being a Ranger isn't about respect, it's about the way Rangers live and conduct business on a daily basis. It's about living the creed and proving to yourself that you have what it takes to complete the mission no matter what. It's about serving your country and being there for your Ranger buddy, your squad, your Plt, and above.

It's about living the life and being the best that you can be, and being proud that you earned the right to be a US Army Ranger.

It seems nothing I post is worthy of a respectful response. Being a Ranger is about a lot more than being a cocky, electro-authoritarian cyber-jerk-off.

Wisely applied desire propels success greater than experience.

Don't apologize just execute (that means do what he said). You have two new posts and you again ignore his request. Don't sit there and act like we are all picking on you. If you make it to Battalion...hell, if you make it RIP you will get your ass dogpiled by a lot more mean people than you will here, and when you fail to do a simple task like write a paper, or memorize the Ranger Greed, your life is going to get a lot less happy in a hurry.

Moral of the story. Shut up and do what is asked without bitching. Get some thick skin because you'll need it to survive in this enviroment.

I am giving you some friendly advice. If you think I'm being disrespectful you can shove it up your fucking sally ass. Pussies need not apply.

I wasn't aware that "Ranger Greed" is a requisite for respect. Since you're a Ranger, you must have thick skin? What advice should I take, may I ask. Seems to me the forum should give practical advice not bombastic abstractions. Dragonmaster seems to be unlcear in what he wants me to do. So far all he's done is assume that his rank and experience lend his words substance regardless of their context. What course of action specifically should I take? Thankyou, have a nice day.

You have a serious attitude problem.

You might think that you're past your anger issues, but you're fucking lying to yourself and to everyone you mention it to.

This site is a wealth of information on all things that pertain to the Army and especially the Rangers. Information that will be barred to you if you don't wise up.

DEPs and DEP wannabes on this site get treated much like privates do. Because that's what they're going to be and they had better learn how to act in that role or they will fail.

If you want help, you'd better learn how to ask for it. Kicking in the door and barging right in isn't going to impress a damn person here. This isn't a site where you can apply debate skills and weasel important info out of people.

The Rangers on this site see countless people professing to be ready to Rangers and at least half of them are sent packing because they can't follow our directions. This is not a public forum. The rules are not up for debate. You have no First Amendment rights here.

You obey our rules or you leave.

You want specific advice? Read the FAQs and stickied posts and shut the hell up until you're ready to start paying attention.

No not being a fucking moron is required. If you read the post instead of what you want to read you would realize that I am saying you should not blow off instructions, but I guess you are too fucking stupid. I hope you go to BN with your piss poor attitude, your lack of attention to detail and lots of strength. That way everyone can smoke the shit out of your dumb ass for a long time before you fucking quit.

That being said, I have thick skin. I could care less what happens to your dumbass. What I can't tolerate is people with intelligence that can't use it. You sound at least moderatly intelligent and yet you can't look at a simple signature line and see the food chain above you. The crowd you are speaking to is a small group of people worldwide. When you show up and fail and are RFS'ed because you can't read the standards book. You will have no one to blame but yourself.

How about leave here forever. One day when your attitude changes you may be allowed to return. In the mean time fuck you retard. No wonder it has taken you so long to enlist. You are fucking stupid. If you do come in, have fun on World Wide Assignment fuckstick. :(

I have made two posts in your direction. Both of those posts were made to help you understand what being a Ranger is all about. You wouldn't believe how many times we've heard the old ("I'll do it, I know I can") come out of a DEP's mouth around here just to watch them fail in one way or another.

This is my first post:

Don't be so sure of yourself, others have thought the same thing and either quit or failed.

Confidence is one thing, cockiness or arrogance is another.
It's pretty self explanatory.

Here is the second post I made:

As you can see, I didn't tell you to do anything, all I wanted you to do is open your eyes to a couple of things.

Now here is what I want you to do.

1) Get an avatar from the appropriate selection, your not a DEP yet so get one from Newts or Newts2. You are not authorized to use one from off of the site.

2) Open your eyes to what your being told. For some reason you are not seeing that the members that have replied are trying to help you out. You just choose to get defensive.

3) If you want respect, show respect and you will earn ours.

4) Stop running your fucking cockgobbler in a disrespectful manner.

If you choose to continue acting in the manner that you have thus far, you will no longer be welcome here and your membership will be terminated. Since you've been here you have continued to dig yourself in deeper and deeper.

There is no need to reply, so don't.

How the fuck would you know what an 'abstraction' is in the context of being a U.S. Army Ranger, dipshit? And remember saying this? "I want to be a Ranger because I want respect." Not only is that statement bombastic, but respect itself is an abstract concept. So is the idea of 'laying your life on the line for your country'.

You are a dumb motherfucker, and I don't mean that in a nice way. Crawl away from me.

Listen close you little maggot. You have failed to follow instructions. You will sonn find that that in the military is failure to obey a lawful order. Hope you enjoy being somebody's "girl friend". And by the FUCKING way, I am a real LIVE RANGER 1SG,. It would behoove you to pay close fucking attention to signature lines. Now besides the 200 words on why you want to be a Ranger, hit the deck and knock out 200 flutter kicks for being a maggot.

What the hell is option 40, ive never even heard of it. I knew nothing about rangers when I joined. With the scores you said you got, they should be throwing options at you. If you care about your future, take the college money option, go 11x with airborne, sit back and let everyone talk shit about how hard they were in high school, then crush them all on the PT test. Graduate basic, knock out airborne school then do what I did: I went down to the patches building and kicked down the RIP recruiters door, got in the front leaning rest position and yelled "Sgt. please sign me up for the next rip class because the honor guard is for Pussy's (no offense Fader)." But usually a recruiter will come down to the airborne school and take volunteers who wish to void their contract and go to rip. All of my basic buddies quit, and I snactched the slots up. RIP slots are dime a dozen, you just need to know where to go and have the right attitude. Even if you become a Ranger, you'll still have options and routes to take. If you don't do it now you probly never will.
